Can my child be featured in your comic?

There are a number of ways the Beano editorial team features kids in the comic, from the Beano Boss to the popular Make Me a Menace feature.

Beano Boss and Make Me a Menace are open to all individuals under 18 years of age worldwide. A child must have the permission of a parent or carer to enter competitions and to submit any content to us. We encourage the parent or carer to make the submission to us on the child's behalf. By sending us something you agree to let us publish a copy and promise you are the creator and owner. We will only use the data provided to contact you in relation to the submission you have made. You can see our privacy policy here.

I keep submitting but my child hasn't been featured?

We get lots of interest from kids who want to appear in Beano, and unfortunately, we can’t publish everyone.

You are welcome to make submissions of new content to our letters page. Some people send the same photo multiple times, but this should be avoided.

Be as creative as possible. We like to see photos of kids having fun with their Beano comic, with their full collection, dressing up and so on.

The team works far in advance, so content isn’t published immediately.
