How do I update my Direct Debit details?

Many banks provide a switching service that automatically moves your Direct Debits to your new account. If your bank offers this service, you do not need to notify us of your new account details. If a switching service is not available, please contact us by telephone or post as soon as possible with your new account number and sort code so we can update your records. For security reasons, do not share bank details via email, contact form, or webchat.

If you have received a new debit card but your bank account details remain the same, there is no need to notify us, as your Direct Debit is linked to your account number and sort code, not your card number.
